Three Studios. One Interconnected Production Platform.
Each studio shares a common technical foundation while supporting slightly different production workflows.
The Flagship Studio
Operating much like a professional television studio, the organization’s flagship broadcast facility supports:
- Multi-camera broadcast production
- Global live webcasts and hybrid events
- Executive communications and leadership messaging
- Patient education programming
- Interviews and recorded content
- Photography and media production
In addition, an adjacent “mini-studio” can be used for production of podcasts, YouTube videos and other streaming content.
The environment allows production teams to create broadcast-quality content that meets the organization’s brand standards and can be deployed across channels and platforms.

Flexible Production Studio
The second studio, currently under construction and nearing completion, was designed as a flexible production and post-production environment. Centered around a soundstage and LED background, the space supports:
- Interview recording
- Post-produced video content
- Educational content production
- Marketing and communications media
- Video and photography
While the facility does not replicate the full multi-camera capabilities of the flagship studio, it provides a powerful local production environment for another campus.
Next-Generation Studio
The third studio currently under development represents the next evolution of the platform. Planned capabilities include XR and virtual production workflows, allowing teams to create immersive visual experiences using:
- Camera tracking
- Virtual environments
- Augmented reality visualizations
These technologies will enable physicians and researchers to present complex medical concepts—such as 3D anatomical models or interactive visualizations—in compelling ways for education and research communication.

Connecting Studios
Across Three Campuses
A central goal of the project was ensuring the studios could operate as a unified production ecosystem rather than isolated facilities.
Using secure video transport technology (SRT), the studios can eventually connect securely across campuses.
This allows production teams to support scenarios such as:
- A physician appearing live from one campus
- Production switching handled at another location
- Content distributed globally from a central control point
The result is a highly flexible broadcast ecosystem that supports collaboration across the organization’s geographically distributed teams.
The Results
The new studio network has transformed how the organization produces and distributes video communication.
Reduced reliance on outside production vendors
Greater confidence for communications teams
Standardized production workflows
Increased flexibility
A scalable
media platform
A Long-Term
Partnership
For more than a decade, Alpha has supported this institution across multiple corporate communication initiatives—from digital signage and LED deployments to broadcast studio development.
This collaboration reflects Alpha’s approach to enterprise media environments: combining broadcast expertise with enterprise AV integration to create systems that are both technically sophisticated and operationally practical.
As the third studio comes online, the platform will complete the organization’s original vision: a connected, broadcast-quality communication ecosystem spanning three campuses.
